Warung Pantai: Culinary Magic in Paradise

Get ready for a brand new gastronomic offering at Karma Beach: the humbly named Warung Pantai – which translates as something like ‘beach bistro.’ Unassuming the name may be, but this is the latest creation from master chef Joseph Antonishek, who is continually elevating our culinary offerings across the Karmaverse.

Warung Pantai draws inspiration from Chef Joe’s extensive travels across Asia as well as Karma’s diverse resort destinations, resulting in a menu that celebrates the vibrant flavours of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Indonesia all with a beachside flourish.

There is a tantalising array of dishes on offer, including jumbo crab summer rolls with passionfruit nuoc cham (dipping sauce), Cambodian fish cakes, and Thai crispy mushrooms. Standout main courses include Kerala Chicken Moilee, Malaysian Asam Laksa and a Vietnamese-inspired Pork Tomahawk Chop. The menu also boasts classic and innovative tandoori specialties, concluding with a delightfully tropical pineapple rum crème brûlée, Milo panna cotta or banana spring roll.

Starting next month, Warung Pantai will introduce a South Indian breakfast menu, available seaside daily. This expansion coincides with the arrival of Chef Jeevraj, formerly Karma’s cluster chef in Northern India. Breakfast highlights will include dosas, idli sambar, string hoppers with vegetable curry, and Kerala egg roast with appam.

Currently operating from 11 AM to 9 PM daily, Warung Pantai will extend its hours from 8 AM – 9 PM in August to accommodate the new breakfast offerings.
