Karma Concierge Staff Spotlight

So far in our Staff Spotlight Series, you’ve met Juni and Stany – who certainly received some warm responses.

This week we chatted with Lyddea, from Karma Concierge Southeast Asia & Pacific, who has been working with Karma Group for 2 years. From the feedback she receives, it’s safe to say that our Members are very fond of Lyddea and always look forward to her calls!

Lyddea Harrison – Karma Concierge

Where are you from and how long have you been working for Karma Group?
I’m from Manchester originally, but I have been living in Bali for 4 years and working with Karma Group for over 2 years now!

What is your favourite thing about working for Karma Group?
I have made some fantastic life-long friends within the Group, as well as the Members that I deal with on a regular basis. I enjoy the new challenges that the job brings as no day in the Concierge Office is the same.

What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
Well, I am actually the voice of Karma Concierge so to speak. When you call the Bali office, that’s my Mancunian accent that you will hear!

What is your morning routine?
I like to wake up at the crack of dawn and go out walking before I prepare for work, I find this helps refresh me for the day ahead. I think I will always be a morning person as I like to make the most of each day.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working for Karma Group?
I am a creative person, so maybe a freelance artist as I love painting. Being from the North of England, we are known for being talkative, so I think I will always love to use my skills in a customer service role.

Which of our Karma Group resorts would you recommend the most to Members and why?
Although I haven’t had the chance to make it there yet due to the pandemic, I would always recommend Karma Salford Hall in the Cotswolds. As you know, there may be a high chance of rain in England, however, you are sure to see some beautiful scenery in the English countryside.

What motivates you to do well?
I try to practice gratitude in all aspects of life.  This motivates me to do the best that I can each day so that no matter what happens I can stay grateful for what I have.

Any words of advice to new Karma Group Members?
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! Our job here as Karma Concierge Navigators is to assist you to make the most of your Membership. Now that travel is officially back on the cards, I would recommend that you start thinking about a very well deserved holiday!

  1. Hi Ms Harrison, so lovely to get to know you a bit more as you have always assisted us so very well, thank you. I really like to hear the Manchester accent – just met in Karma Minoan a nice family from there – as I had a year in Manchester at UMIST in the beginning of the eighties. Kindest regards from Germany!
